Dr. Diane Thein, veterinarian, owner

Dr. Diane Thein was born in Waterloo, Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. At the beginning of her career she worked on both horses and small animals before focusing solely on small animals. Veterinary medicine has many of the same diseases as found in human medicine but with a silent patient; Dr. Thein's passion is to provide the same quality care and compassion you would expect from your own family doctor.  

Dr. Thein moved to Galesville from the Iowa City, Iowa, area in August of 2006 for a position in Winona. She lives with her "boys"  Jacque, and Maverick; and her horse Gracie.  Her favorite past times are hiking Perot park with the "boys," trail riding with Gracie, and motorcycling with Jay.

Dr. Steven Timm 

Dr. Steven Timm is a 1986 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Minnesota. He has spent the majority of his practice experience in the field of emergency and critical care for small animals.  Dr. Timm currently lives in Vernon County, and he offers surgical support services to practices in the area. Dr. Timm has the experience and equipment necessary to perform general orthopedic and some of the more complicated soft tissue procedures. He will be coming directly to Best Friends Pet Clinic on a scheduled basis as a mobile service.
